The symbol of Kusatsu Onsen. 4000 liters of hot spring water flows out every minute. The source of Kusatsu Onsen is very hot, about 60 degrees, so it is cooled down by running it through a 60-meter wooden gutter. This wooden gutter was actually designed by Taro Okamoto. In 1973, the town mayor asked Mr. Taro Okamoto, who likes skiing and hot springs, to turn the heavily trafficked Yubatake into a place of recreation and relaxation. Right next to it, there is also a yu-momi show that cools the hot spring water.

Kusatsu's largest open-air bath, one of Kusatsu's three hot springs. Its size is 500 square meters. Enjoy an open-air bath surrounded by nature. Friday evening is "mixed bathing day". The women's open-air bath is the same as usual, but the men's open-air bath is mixed bathing (wearing Yuamigi). You can enter the men's open-air bath from the women's open-air bath. The fee is 700 yen for adults and 350 yen for children.

A restaurant where you can eat freshly made soba, which is ground in a stone mill every morning. When it comes to soba, there are noodles that are chewy and firm, but our shop is the exact opposite. Rather than one noodle at a time, it feels like you're eating a whole bunch of noodles, and it's fresh and delicious. We recommend eating Morisoba with grated yam.

We have a wide selection of Gunma local sake, wine, whiskey and more. We also have original sake made in collaboration with the store and the brewery. It is fun to be able to taste and compare paid sake drinkers. The store clerk is very knowledgeable and good at explaining.

15 minutes by car from Kusatsu Onsen, and 45 minutes by car from the facility, deep in the mountains. A hot spring like a river, a river like a hot spring, that is Shiriyaki Onsen. It seems that the name comes from the fact that the source springs up in various places in the river, and it becomes more and more. It's warm overall, but it's certainly hot at the source. Because it is a river, there are places so deep that you can barely see your face when standing, and the water in the deep places is cold. It's a river so it's free. A short walk from the parking lot, the hot spring is opposite Hotel Kozanso. Be careful as it is covered with moss and very slippery.
